The Newgrange Spiral Cuff-links are based on carvings on the stones in the megalithic mounds in Co. Meath, Ireland. Thought to be a solar calculator, the Sun shines down a long shaft at the Solstice. The site dates from circa 3500BC. It is thought to be one of the oldest man-made monuments in the World.
